It is nice to have the support of mates when you take the time to organise events like the Fish Fry which I did for 7 years and now the Wooden Board Day for 6 years. Roger Hall of Surfline Surfboards in New Zealand and his mate Mike Cunningham have been great mates and supporters for the whole time. And even when thay haven't been able to get across the ditch to be here they help get the word out about what I am doing. I have met so many great people through my blogs and building boards and organising events. Thanks Roger and Mike and all those others that make it worth the effort to keep doing it each year.
